Bachstein Consulting LLC, a firearms defense engineering firm, recognizes its ongoing commitment to research and development in the firearms industry by funding its own firearms technology incubator.

Technology incubators are programs that function as accelerators for early-stage product ideas or technologies with the goal of providing specialized knowledge to make imagination a reality. Bachstein Consulting’s incubator aims to mature original ideas for new features, increased performance, extended reliability, and/or improved manufacturability.

The commitment to self-funding new technologies further establishes Bachstein Consulting as an industry leader in research and development of firearms technologies. Through diverse but specialized engineering experience, the Bachstein team often finds themselves with unique and “crazy” ideas that are simply born of a passion for firearms and manufacturing. These ideas are evaluated for viability, and some are conceptualized and even prototyped. This program is responsible for numerous patent applications, as well as client owned applications.

Bachstein Consulting does not limit its incubator or validity testing to its own internal projects. The team is available for early-stage research and development for clients as well. Firearm technology designs can include pistols, rifles, grenade launchers, silencers, and all accessories. With FFL Types 7 and 10 with SOTs, the possibilities are endless.
